Poll results confirmed Republican Steve Russell won the Oklahoma City race for Congress in the 5th District, defeating Democrat Al McAffrey.
Russell received 60 percent of the vote, defeating McAffrey, who received 36 percent.
Our exclusive final pre-election poll leading up to election night showed Republican Steve Russell in the lead with 55 percent of the votes while Democrat Al McAffrey trailed with 31 percent. 11 percent were still undecided at that time.
