High School Football: Week 10 Locker Room

The last week of the regular season is here. Playoff berths have been locked away for weeks for the lucky few, but for others, Friday night is the last gasp for many teams to stamp their place in the brackets. We've got plenty of those games on the schedule for you this week, as well as other games that will simply decide seeding or are just darn good games.

Be sure to check out the list of games below and how each one will affect the playoff chase.

Thursday, Nov. 6

Union 51, Edmond North 14

-Union is locked into No. 1 in 6A-I-2 while Edmond North is out.

Heritage Hall 33, Purcell 0

-Heritage Hall is first in 3A-1 while Purcell is locked in at second in 3A-3.

Altus 54, Northwest Classen 16

-Altus can grab first in district with a win and a Lawton MacArthur loss to El Reno. If Altus, Ardmore and MacArthur all win, Altus takes second.

Friday, Nov. 7

News on 6 Game of the Week: Lincoln Christian vs. Berryhill

-Berryhill is first or second depending on win or loss. Lincoln could slip to third with a loss, Verdigris win and Sperry win.

News 9 Game of the Week: Guthrie vs. Deer Creek

-This game will decide first and second in district 5A-2.

McAlester vs. Memorial

-McAlester can grab first with a win and Skiatook loss, second with a win and Skiatook win and third with a loss and a Shawnee loss. Memorial can grab second with a win and a Shawnee loss, and is fourth in any other scenario.

Broken Arrow vs. Edmond Memorial

-Broken Arrow is locked into second while the Bulldogs get in the playoffs with a Westmoore loss, regardless of outcome.

Muskogee vs. Booker T. Washington

-Booker T. Washington can be second or third in district, while Muskogee needs a win and a Bartlesville loss to steal the fourth slot from the Bruins.

Jenks vs. Yukon

-Jenks has clinched the district title, while Yukon needs a win OR losses from Edmond Santa Fe and Westmoore or Edmond Memorial.

Checotah vs. Beggs

-Winner is first, loser is second in district.

Lawton vs. Choctaw

-Lawton is first with a win, second with a loss in 6A-II-2, while Choctaw is locked into third.

McLoud vs. Glenpool

-McLoud needs a win and a Tuttle win to get in. Glenpool can be third or fourth with a win, or fourth with a loss of six or less and a Tuttle loss.

Norman North vs. Southmoore

-This is win and you're in for these two teams battling for the fourth spot in 6A-I-2.

East Central vs. Collinsville

-Collinsville is locked into first place, while East Central needs an Edison loss to get in.

Piedmont vs. Bishop McGuinness

-Also a win and you're in scenario for these two teams.

Putnam City North vs. Owasso

-Owasso is locked into second in district 6A-I-2

Ada vs. Harrah

-Ada is first with win, second with a loss. Harrah could be anywhere from first to third.

Sallisaw vs. Metro Christian

-Metro is second with a win, but could slip to fourth if things break poorly. Sallisaw is most likely fourth, but could climb to second with a win and a Poteau loss.

Bethany vs. John Marshall

-Bethany is first with a win, second with a loss. John Marshall can win and have Douglass lose to get first, OR win by 10 or more. They're third with a loss.

Cleveland vs. Cascia Hall

-Cleveland is fourth with win and Wagoner win OR with win by 13 points or more and Wagoner loss. Cascia Hall is most likely in third with win, but could also be third or fourth with a loss.

Sand Springs vs. Bixby

-Bixby is locked into first while Sand Springs could get second with a win and a Booker T. Washington loss or by gaining one or more district points on the Hornets.
