OKC Thunder, Military Members Make Care Packages For Deployed Soldiers

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma military members teamed up over the weekend to make care packages for soldiers deployed overseas.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma military members teamed up over the weekend to make care packages for soldiers deployed overseas.

According to Oklahoma Frontline, on Saturday, more than 55 military members, including members from the Oklahoma National Guard, Tinker, Vance, Altus Air Force Bases, and 20 Thunder personnel volunteered for the HUGs Project.

Together, the volunteers packaged more than 400 boxes for deployed troops, as part of the NBA and Department of Defense Commitment to Service.
