The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in Grant County Tuesday evening.
According to the USGS, the 3.4 magnitude earthquake shook the area six miles west, southwest of Medford and 26 miles north of Enid at 5:32 p.m.
The earthquake was more than two miles deep.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
