It's very cold and windy for your morning forecast. In the metro we have a 20 percent chance for some light freezing drizzle or light snow, but most of that activity will occur in southeast Oklahoma.
By mid morning that will shift well to our southeast. The story for most of the state today will be the wind chills. Mid 20s for the morning temperatures will create lower teens wind chills with a north wind 10-20 mph. So wrap the kids up and don't forget the scarf and gloves.
Later today, your afternoon forecast includes cloudy skies with an afternoon high near 33 degrees. Those north winds kick in 15-25 mph keeping the wind chills in the upper single digits/ lower teens.
This shot of colder air only hangs around for a couple of days with 50s coming back on Wednesday and rain chances on the increase.
