Emergency crews responded to a three-alarm fire at 9315 S. Shartel Avenue Monday night around 9:15 p.m.
Officials said there nine units were impacted at the Brookwood Village Apartments.
Preliminary reports indicated residents in the apartment were able to escape. Three residents jumped from the second story of the building, fire crews said. Those people were injured, but Oklahoma City Fire Deputy Chief Mark Woodard said those injuries are considered to be minor.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. At least 40 firefighters responded to knock down the blaze.
