Firefighters from multiple fire departments extinguished a two-story home fire in Piedmont.

At about 2 a.m. Wednesday, crews responded to the fire at a home on High Meadows Lane in far north Piedmont between Piedmont Road and Cemetery Road. A News 9 crew on the scene said the fire has destroyed the house.

Four people were inside when the fire started, but they all managed to make it safely out of the home.

Firefighters do believe the fire started somewhere upstairs. A cause is still under investigation.

Crews had to truck in water to help put out the flames. Firefighters from Piedmont, Edmond, Deer Creek and Okarche fire departments responded to the fire.
