Fire Damages School Buses Belonging To Crooked Oak Schools

Several buses for Crooked Oak Public Schools have been damaged by an early morning fire.

Oklahoma City firefighters found at least one bus burning inside the Crooked Oak bus barn on Southeast 15^th near Eastern Avenue.

Firefighters were responding to the area just before 5:00 a.m. for a smoke investigation.

It appears at least one bus is destroyed by the fire. Several other buses may have smoke and water damage.

It's not clear if the fire will affect bus routes for students of the school district. We're working to confirm that information.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
