I said Wednesday night a district court judge who heard the case today should honor Douglass High School's appeal of their playoff game with Locust Grove.
A blown call by the referees was an exceptional situation that requires exceptional measures to correct it. The judge may agree. He has postponed Friday night's game. Hundreds of you have chimed in after my commentary last:
Jimmy writes: "worst 2 cents ever. Replay the last minute for real? When has that EVER happened?"
From Ashley: "I completely agree. It is the playoffs and they deserve the chance to get the last 64 seconds played or the entire game."
Larry says: "Locust Grove Schools have no class if the school and coach accept the flawed victory."
Ann writes: "They just need to award the win to Douglass and move on."
Teresa didn't like a legislator brining race into it: "So disappointed in Senator Anastasia Pittman's comments.."
Janet writes: "If every game was replayed that a ref made a bad call in football season would go year round.”
Charles says: "I would to like know how much Oklahoma City Public School funds are being spent for this silly ordeal."
From Lanny: "we can learn the lesson that sometimes life is not fair...we have to move on."
Finally, Loy writes: "You and Okc people are just a bunch of cry babies"
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
