Power Restored For Most In Norman, OKC

More than 2,500 homes are in the dark after power outages in Oklahoma City and Norman, Sunday night.

More than 2,500 homes were in the dark after power outages in Oklahoma City and Norman, Sunday night.

The cause of the outages is not known at this time. Earlier in the night, a lightning strike knocked out power to about 1,100 homes in the OKC/Moore area.

Monday morning, power has been restored for most customers in Norman and Oklahoma City. At about 7 a.m., 93 customers in Norman and 165 customers in Muskogee are still without power.
