Two people were arrested on multiple complaints, including possession of a stolen car and illegal drugs, following a traffic stop in southeast Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office, at about 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 12, a deputy pulled over a car being driven with a broken brake light at S.E. 47th and S. Durland. A man was driving the car and a woman was sitting in the passenger seat.
The deputy spoke with the driver, 34-year-old Delmar Roy Denson and asked for his driver's license. Denson admitted to not having a license. The deputy later learned that the car Denson was driving had been reported stolen out of Del City.
According to the Sheriff's office, the passenger, 24-year-old Ashley Ann Walker, admitted to the deputy that there were drugs inside the vehicle. She then retrieved a baggie of marijuana from inside her bra, and opened the glove box and handed the deputy a small pouch with glass pipes, and a baggie believed to contain methamphetamine.
Both Denson and Walker were taken into custody. Denson has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of defective equipment, no state driver's license, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle. He is being held on $5,500 bond.
Walker was booked in the jail on complaints of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She is being held on $4,500 bond.
