The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported two earthquakes in Alfalfa County Tuesday.
A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was reported 14 miles east, northeast of Cherokee and 34 miles north, northwest of Enid at 11:01 a.m., according to the USGS.
The earthquake was more than three miles deep.
Then at 11:18 a.m., the USGS reported another earthquake in the almost the exact same location. That earthquake was a 3.1 magnitude, more than three miles deep.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
