3.4 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Medford

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Medford, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 7:18 a.m. Its epicenter was located 11 miles east, southeast of Medford and 25 miles west of Ponca City.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
