The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in Noble County Saturday.

The 3.1 magnitude earthquake was reported at 7:17 p.m. Saturday eight miles southwest of Perry and 19 miles west, northwest of Stillwater, according to the USGS.

The USGS said the earthquake was more than two miles deep.

There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.

According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
