The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) said they let Santa Claus off with a warning Wednesday night. Deputies wrote Saint Nick a warning notice instead of a ticket when he was pulled over by Deputy Graffeo near N.W. 206th Street and Portland. Santa was apparently stopped in his 2015 model sleigh with license plates reading: HO HO HO, according to the OCSO.

The warning notice showed Santa was traveling 96 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Graffeo also warned Santa for an improper display of a front red light. The notice said, “It was explained that a red light cannot be seen from the front … Rudolph's nose was extra bright.”

The OCSO posted the festive, fictitious document on its Twitter Thursday morning.
