The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in Logan County on Christmas Day.
The 3.8 magnitude quake was reported at 2:32 p.m. Thursday three miles south of Guthrie and 12 miles north, northeast of Edmond, according to the USGS.
The earthquake was more than two miles deep.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
