A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Cherokee, Oklahoma, Friday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 11:12 a.m. Its epicenter was located 11 miles east, northeast of Cherokee, 31 miles north, northwest of Enid.
It was about three miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
