It's a cold morning with much of the state showing 20s and 30s temperatures. North winds are 10-20 mph under a mostly clear sky.

Later today, it will be mostly sunny with a few high clouds possible. The afternoon high will be near 45 degrees with north winds 10-20 mph. It will feel colder with a North breeze so take a coat for sure.

Tonight, it will be cold with a chance for a winter mix in northwest Oklahoma. Not too much expected for the rest of the state. Overnight temps will again be near or below freezing.

We are going into a cold and wet pattern which will bring arctic air with several days of sub freezing temps, and four or five days with a winter mix possible.

Today will be a good day to finish winterizing your home and car for the upcoming freezing events. It will get colder after today.
