A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Helena, Oklahoma, Tuesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 9:11 a.m. Its epicenter was located three miles west, northwest of Helena, and 27 miles west, northwest of Enid.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
