1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tablespoon sliced fresh ginger
1 cup pomegranate juice
2 cups club soda, chilled
In a saucepan over medium heat warm the sugar and water till the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and pour the warm sugar water into a mason jar and then add in the ginger. Allow this to sit with the lid on for 2 hours or up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. To make the fizz: In a large pitcher add in 1/2 cup ginger sugar water, pomegranate juice and club soda. Stir well and serve over ice!
