I've shared on previous New Year Eve's, how I'm not very good at keeping New Year's resolutions, but that changed in 2014.
Up until this year, the only resolution I can remember keeping for a year was admittedly lame-o. I committed to not pay any late fees on rental movies way back in the VHS days, and I made it the whole year, although sometimes I had to drop them in the return box in my pajamas.
Well this year, I determined to develop more of an attitude of gratitude, by expressing my appreciation in Thank You notes.
I enlisted my partner here, Amanda, to do it with me and we held each other accountable almost daily.
And I know I speak for both of us, when I say it's surprising when you actually take time to stop and consider the people who help you or make your life better every day, and how much they appreciate the acknowledgment.
I'm deciding between a couple of resolutions for 2015, one's all I can handle, but I know one thing for sure, I will ask someone else to commit to it with me, because accountability is the key.
Happy New Year, and I hope you find a resolution that will change you and bless others.
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
