OKC Crews Say Strike Team Is Ready For Possible Winter Weather

Oklahoma City officials said the strike team will report to the central maintenance facility at midnight on Sunday should snow and ice move into the city.

City officials said street crews will begin salting city snow routes if ice or snow begins to accumulate on the roadways.

Residents were urged to use extra caution over bridges and overpasses and to carry necessary supplies to stay warm and safe.
