Three earthquakes shook up residents in Perry, Okla., overnight Friday into early Saturday.

The first, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 11:06 p.m. Its epicenter was located just two miles south southwest of Perry, 16 miles northwest of Stillwater, and 26 miles north northeast of Guthrie.

The second, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck around 12:14 a.m. Its epicenter was also located two miles east southeast of Perry, 14 miles northwest of Stillwater, and 28 miles north northeast of Guthrie.

The third earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 struck just before 7:30 a.m. Its epicenter was located 16 miles west southwest of Perry, 19 miles southeast of Enid, and 24 miles north northwest of Guthrie. 

All quakes were about 60 miles north northeast of the metro area.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with either earthquake.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
