Authorities have identified the victim in a deadly motorcycle crash in Edmond, Monday night, as a 16-year-old female high school student.

Authorities have identified the victim in a deadly motorcycle crash in Edmond, Monday night, as a 16-year-old female high school student.

The Medical Examiner identified the girl as Loreane Ingram, 16, a sophomore at Edmond North High School.

Investigators say Ingram was a passenger on the motorcycle that crashed after another vehicle pulled a U-turn in front of the bike near 2nd Street and Vista Ln. around 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Ingram was thrown from the bike and then hit by another car.

No charges have been filed or citations written at this time. The Edmond Police are still investigating the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle, now identified as 40-year-old William Cain, was taken to OU Presbyterian Hospital. The extent of his injuries has not been released.
