Detectives in Shawnee said they have located a missing man with a history of mental illness.
Authorities said Justin David Wiebe, 34, was wearing blue jeans, black and tan steel-toed boots a black leather jacket and an orange OSU stocking cap when he went missing. Wiebe was described as a white male about 5'10, weighing 170 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. Wiebe has what authorities called a ‘king of kings' tattoo on his right forearm and a tribal tattoo on his outer lower leg.
Authorities said he has a history of mental illness and takes medicine three times a day for it. He lives with his caretaker at 637 N. Park in Shawnee, detectives said.
On Saturday around 9:30 a.m. he went for a walk, which is reportedly common for him. But those close to him said he always comes home to take his medicine and this was unusual for him not to return after this long.
The photos provided by authorities show him heavier than his actual weight. Authorities said he is probably 40-50 pounds lighter.
Tuesday morning, Shawnee police confirmed with News 9 that they have located Wiebe.
