? Kevin Durant says he will return from a toe injury to take on the New Orleans Pelicans Friday night.
Speaking with media members on Friday morning, Durant changed his questionable status saying he would play in the Thunder's important matchup with New Orleans. He also talked about how the injury occurred. "I was coming down the lane, got fouled I think and I stepped down on the back of my toe so hard it kinda stretched farther than I wanted it to, bruised my bone and it was tough," Durant said. "You use your toe every part of the day so it was tough, but the trainers did a great job of giving me treatment every single day and helping me out with the pain."
The Thunder have won two-in-a-row and are two games behind Phoenix for the eighth spot in the Western Conference. New Orleans is a game ahead of OKC.
