The Oklahoma County District Attorney filed charges Thursday against two suspects in a fatal shooting at a NW Oklahoma City convenience store from back in January.

Court documents showed Braylen Brown faces one count of Felony First Degree murder, while in the commission of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

Documents also showed Lakeiia Moore faces one count of Crime of Accessory to a Felony, by lying to police with knowledge that the victim had been murdered.

Authorities said Quantrell Lawrence was shot to death in the parking lot of the Four Seasons convenience store in Oklahoma City on Jan. 16.

Brown originally told police he shot the Lawrence in self-defense while Lawrence reportedly tried to rob him, according to authorities.

Detectives said the investigation revealed Lawrence was shot while inside a vehicle with Brown in the parking lot. Investigators said text messages were found on Lawrence's phone, exchanging messages about a narcotic transaction.

Authorities said Brown's fingerprints were found on marijuana containers located in a dumpster near the gas station.

Moore was also at the scene, police said, with a loaded .38 caliber handgun.

Both Moore and Brown denied putting anything in the dumpster, court documents stated.
