A majority of Oklahoma school districts canceled classes for Tuesday after snow covered much of the state on Monday.
Oklahoma City Public Schools, Edmond Public Schools, and Moore Public Schools are among those closed on Tuesday.
However, most colleges and universities, such as UCO, OU, OSU-OKC and OCU are on delay. OSU in Stillwater opens at normal time.
You can see the full list of closings here.
On Monday, News 9 meteorologists said a winter storm system dumped anywhere from a tenth of an inch of snow to up to locally four inches across Oklahoma.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, because of the continued low temperatures overnight, drivers should be cautious of slushy areas refreezing and turning to ice Tuesday morning.
ODOT crews said they will continue salt, sand and plowing operations as long as conditions warrant. Drivers should remain alert to these trucks working throughout the overnight and morning hours and stay at least 200 feet behind snow plows.
