OKC Police Investigate Home Invasion & Shooting

The Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) said officers are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 600 block of N.W. 91st Street.

Authorities said the call came in as a First Degree Burglary/Home Invasion and the victim walked to the Oklahoma City Fire Department for help. The fire department's facility is located in the 300 block of N.W. 92nd Street.

Police on scene said the suspect went to the home on the 600 block of N.W. 91st Street and asked to use the phone, but the residents said no. Authorities said the suspect and three others kicked in the door and began assaulting the homeowner, then shooting him one time. When a member of the family called 911 for help, the suspects fled the scene and the homeowner went to the fire station for help.

Police said they do not have information on a suspect at this time. But the victim was taken to the hospital after being shot in the ear.
