Some Bethany boy scouts have a new equipment trailer thanks to some donors who heard about their problem.
In January, someone stole Boy Scout Troop 553's two trailers from a church parking lot and all their equipment.
Scout Master Bob Albauer estimated it would cost more than $25,000 to replace everything.
Police never received a lead on the theft, but the Ross Family of Ross Transportation Co. in Oklahoma City donated brand new 2014 trailer to the troop. The company even put the troop's logo on it, too.
The troop also had a huge turnout for their first fundraiser. The pancake breakfast that usually pulls in 200 people brought in 600 people this year following News 9 coverage of the trailer theft.
With the donations, the troop is mostly back in business and should be making their first camp-out in March.
If you know anything about the theft or if you see the trailers, you're asked to call Bethany police.
A fundraising account has been set up at Saint Marks United Methodist Church for the boy scouts.
