Here's a Thursday morning weather update from the News 9 Weather Team:

"It's very cold Thursday morning with most of the state in single digits and teens. There are a few 20s temps out there. Much of the state has had snowfall and overnight there was very little or limited road improvement, so expect snow packed roads to become icy on your morning travels.

It will be sunny and cold on Thursday. But we will climb above freezing at 39 degrees.

We recorded 4.2 inches of snow at the airport. Mid-day we do expect some melting to occur, but remember this will re-freeze tonight. It will be cold tonight with warmer weather starting Friday."
