Central Oklahoma won its first American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) National Championship, topping Stony Brook 4-0 at OBM Arena.

Josh Wyatt scored twice for the Bronchos, once into an empty net to lead UCO in the win. Tournament MVP Michael Rivera added a goal of his own to stretch UCO's lead to three goals 4:41 into the third period. The game winning goal went to Ryan Duley, who opened the scoring at 6:09 of the second period.

Tory Caldwell, who got a much deserved rest against Minot State, made 19 saves in the win as UCO became the fifth different team to win a National Title in the last five years.
