Oklahoma State is finally starting to get some national respect after winning at West Virginia on Saturday. OSU (6-0, 3-0) rose from 21st a week ago to No. 16 this week. That is the second-largest jump behind Michigan, which rose six spots after crushing Northwestern, 38-0.
Oklahoma (4-1, 1-1) nearly dropped off the table after an excruciating 24-17 loss to rival Texas. The Sooners fell nine spots all the way to 19th, the single largest drop of the week.
OSU is off next week before a matchup with lowly Kansas. OU must get back on the horse for a tough trip to face Kansas State on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
