Police Investigate Homicide After Man Found Dead In NE OKC

Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in northeast Oklahoma City, Monday night.

According to police, at about 11 p.m., officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Meyers Place. When they arrived, they found the victim lying in the front yard of a home. 

The victim had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. 

Police have not identified the victim. No arrests have been made, and police have not released a suspect description. If you have any information, call the Homicide tip-line at (405)-297-1200.

This is Oklahoma City's 71st homicide of 2015, according to police.
