Police arrested a student believed to be involved in making a bomb threat that prompted evacuations at Moore’s Central Junior High School, Monday morning.
The evacuations occurred after a message containing a bomb threat was found scrawled on a bathroom wall, as has been the case in several recent threats at metro schools. Bomb sniffing dogs were called in and no device or explosive was found. The threat is believed to be a hoax.
School administrators made the decision to evacuate the school shortly after the note was found.
The identity of the 13-year-old student in custody is not known.
