There are new details in a case involving a pastor in Anadarko who is accused of molesting children. Investigators now believe it had been happening for decades.
Since News 9 last reported on Marion Milton-Otis Toehay, the Caddo County District Attorney says four more victims have come forward.
“The original report we got was that he’d been involved with one girl,” Caddo County Undersheriff Lennis Miller said.
One little girl came forward, and that's all it took for a man investigators believe had been molesting children for years to finally get caught.
“Since that time he’s been back in court, and now there are 10 charges against him,” Miller said. “It wouldn’t surprise me in a case like this if more people came forward.”
Since our last report, the Caddo County District Attorney filed additional charges against Toehay.
Toehay now has 15 total charges against him. Five were just filed, including two for first-degree rape by instrumentation and three for lewd acts with a child. The incidents date back to 1998 and 2000 and reportedly happened at a church and inside Toehay's van. The victims were girls ranging in age from six to eight years old.
“If he’s been in the ministry all these years, how many other people have suffered?” Miller said.
Toehay is in the Caddo County Jail without bond.
