Oklahoma City Police are searching for a gunman after a shooting on the northeast side sent one person to the hospital.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Monday at the Heritage Pointe apartments at N.E. 26th and Kelly. Police taped off several units while they gathered information and looked for any sort of evidence.

It is unclear if a weapon was discovered. But once police arrived, they discovered one person had been shot. That person was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not said if the victim is a man or a woman. No suspect description has been released either.
