Crews responded to a house fire in Spencer Friday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to a home at 5613 Randle around 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, the home was completely engulfed in flames and the roof collapsed.
According to authorities, the road leading to the home is very narrow making it difficult to get fire rigs, equipment, and personnel to the fire. Also, there are no hydrants in the area and the Jones Fire Department was called in to assist with a brush pumper.
The owner of the home was there at the time of the fire. No word yet on what caused the blaze.
