An Oklahoma City food pantry needs your help providing Thanksgiving meals to hundreds of people in need.

Every year, “Other Options Friends Food Pantry” prepares a complete Thanksgiving meal for 750 people across the metro. The organization even delivers the meals to their doors on Thanksgiving morning.

Robert Painter with the food pantry spoke with News 9 and said this year, they are trying to raise $5,000 in cash donations and they need 100 turkeys and 100 hams.

Volunteers are needed during food preparation events, which will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25 at the Earth Elements/Urban Agrarian at the Farmers Market.  Painter said they also need volunteer drivers to deliver the meals to those in need on Thanksgiving Day.

If you would like to donate money or food you can drop off your donation at 3636 NW 51st OKC, OK 73112.
