Crews were called out to the scene of a house fire on the south side of Edmond, Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the home located in the 1400 block of Choctaw Ln., in the Bradford Gardens housing addition, just after 3:30 p.m. Authorities tell News 9 the fire was started by a vehicle and spread to the home. It is unclear if anyone was inside of the home at the time the fire started.
Although the home at an Edmond address, fire crews with the Oklahoma City Fire Department responded. Multiple fire engines were used to keep the fire from spreading to other homes in the neighborhood.
Firefighters were quickly able to get the fire under control by venting the roof. A preliminary damage estimate is not known. No one was injured.
