There will be an increased police presence at the Mustang High School Friday due to a threat made against the school late Thursday night.
According to the Superintendent, the threat was sent using a fictitious name to one of the students through messaging app “Kik.” The threat was then reported to police.
School officials did not specify what the note said. The Superintendent said they do not believe the threat is credible. However, they do take all threats very seriously. They will be having school as usual on Friday, but there will be an increased police presence.
Law enforcement officials will continue to investigate the threat.
