Kevin Durant returned to the court on Monday night. That was great news for the Thunder, and bad news for the Jazz.
Durant dropped 27 points on a sizzling 10 of 13 from the floor to lead the Thunder past Utah 111-89 in Salt Lake City. Oklahoma City shot 55 percent from the floor and 41 percent from downtown.

Russell Westbrook also showed up and showed out. Westbrook scored 20 points to go with nine assists and seven rebounds. Westbrook, like most of his teammates, played limited minutes due to the blowout. Anthony Morrow broke out of his slump with 15 points on 6 of 8 shooting. Dion Waiters added 12 points and six assists while Serge Ibaka chipped in 11 points and four blocks.
The Jazz, on the other hand, were awful. Gordon Hayward led Utah with 19 points, but only had two teammates reach double figures. The Jazz shot just 38 percent from the field and 26 percent from deep. Utah got wiped out despite shooting 40 free throws.
Oklahoma City (9-6) is back on the floor on Wednesday against Brooklyn. Utah (6-7) is at the Clippers on Wednesday.
