Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who held up a teenager at a southwest Oklahoma City convenience store.
This all happened inside the Premium Discount General Store near S.W. 4th and May Ave. on Saturday night. The owner's teenage son was behind the counter here when it happened, while she was back in the restroom.
Fortunately they had just installed a surveillance system two days before. and it captured the entire armed robbery on tape.
In the video, you can see as the man walks up to the counter, he pulls out a gun while he lays down his drink. He quietly tells the young boy behind the register to open the drawer. You can tell the kid is scared, but he complies and finally gets the drawer to open.
Fast forward a bit and you see the boy handing over the cash, while other people are walking in the store, oblivious to the fact that an armed robbery was taking place.
As the boy starts to hand over the cash, he hesitates and pulls away as the robber grabs at the cash. That's when the robber raised his gun to show he was serious.
Take one more look at this shot of the robber walking in. Police hope what he was wearing will help identify him. He came in wearing a grey sweatshirt and white ball cap and was seen taking off in this car.
If you know who he is, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
