Three people have been hospitalized following a single vehicle accident in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, in Pottawatomie County overnight.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before 12:30 a.m., on Hardesty Rd., when a vehicle traveling at a high speed left the roadway, over-corrected, and struck two trees before overturning on its side.

The driver identified as 36-year-old April Chandler and one passenger, 38-year-old Phillip Chandler, both of Macomb, Oklahoma, were partially ejected from the vehicle.  Both were transported to OU Medical in Oklahoma City. April is said to be in good condition and Phillip is in serious condition.

A second passenger identified as 40-year-old Mitchell Schlesner, of Ixonia, WI., was also transported to OU Medical in good condition.

Troopers say there was an odor of alcohol when checking the vehicle. And seatbelts were equipped but not in use.
