The anxiety of seeing the flashing blue lights of police in your rear view mirror was felt Saturday in McClain County, but fears of getting tickets were quickly replaced with Christmas cheer.

In small town Washington, Oklahoma, police prepared for a big operation.

Each car that crosses before an officer is subject to being pulled over.

To most drivers' surprise, the officers gave them and their children candy canes and presents.

All the Washington police officers were volunteering their time today, off the clock, for the gift giveaway.
