Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store while he was armed with a gun.
According to police, just before 9:30 p.m. on Friday, December 18, officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at 7-Eleven, located at 1628 N. Rockwell.
A clerk told officers that a male suspect entered the store and grabbed a can of Natural Light Beer. He brought the beer to the register and handed $2 to the clerk. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect reportedly walked behind the counter and said, “This is a robbery. Give me your money.”
The suspect then lifted his shirt, displaying a gun in his waistband. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. He then asked the clerk for two cartons of Newport 100s, worth $71.90 each. The suspect told clerk not to tell anyone about the incident, or he would kill her.
A customer reported seeing the suspect get in a small black car, possibly a two-door, older model, Honda Civic.
On Wednesday, December 23, police released two surveillance photos of the suspect. If you recognize this man, or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300, or submit a tip online.
