Norman Police Identify Body Found Near I-35

Norman police have identified the man found Sunday near Interstate 35.

Richard Alexander Kinney, 47, was found shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday alongside the northbound I-35 on-ramp from Lindsey Street, Norman police spokeswoman Sarah Jensen said.

The state medical examiner's office said Kinney's injuries were from a hit and run accident.

Officers think accident happened some time between late Saturday night to early Sunday morning, Jensen said.
