3.2 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Alva

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake rattled near Alva, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 5:35 a.m. Its epicenter was located 13 miles south, southwest of Alva, and 38 miles east, northeast of Woodward.

It was about six miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
