OU’s starting DE Charles Walker will not play in Orange Bowl against Clemson Thursday afternoon.

Walker suffered a concussion during practice on Monday, the team announced Thursday afternoon. It's unclear at this time if he will be able to play, if the Sooners advance into the championship game.

Bob Stoops, his assistant and the defensive line coach told News 9's Dean Blevins that Walker is by far Oklahoma's most dominant defensive lineman, and that he is the difference-maker among the group.

The Sooners are set to take on the Clemson Tigers at 3 p.m. Thursday in Miami, Florida.
