Cleanup crews are finally starting to clear the ice storm debris in some Oklahoma City neighborhoods near Northwest Expressway.
One such crew out of South Carolina tells News 9 the process has been slow due to the bidding process, travel for crews to arrive in Oklahoma, and because of the sheer volume of debris.
A contractor says that there are approximately 100 trucks out working to clear all the downed limbs and other storm damage, but he still expects the process to last another month.
Residents can help speed up the process by keeping piles next to the road, away from light poles, trees and mailboxes.
